Our Journey and Impact

Founded in 2021, Afriwomen emerged from the need to support African women refugees facing unique challenges, establishing programs focused on education, skills development, and psychosocial support.

Year 2024

In 2021, Afriwomen was founded, addressing the urgent need for support among African women refugees and establishing its vision for empowerment.

Year 2023

In 2022, the organization launched its first vocational training program, helping women refugees acquire essential skills for economic self-sufficiency.

Year 2022

In 2022, Afriwomen opened its inclusive learning center, providing educational support for both women and their children from diverse refugee communities.
